FOOD & DRINKS

• Can I order a la carte? No. As we cook local and fresh, we are dependent on our own harvest and the offer of the local market.

• I am vegetarian, allergic to etc. No Problem. Please let us know and we will prepare according food.

SUPPORT THE "COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF HOPE"

• Can I volunteer? There is always work to be done in the Community School of Hope. If you would like to help us improve our buildings, garden or help any others in the local community, please talk to us. We are grateful for your help.

• What can I buy in Siem Reap and bring with me:

  • Bandages, band aids, alcohol swabs and Betadine

  • Shoes, sizes 30-43

  • Cotton pyjamas

  • Shampoo, soap and toothpaste

  • Laundry powder

  • Electrolyte sachets (available from any pharmacy)

  • Dish washing liquid, sponges and cloths

  • Cotton underwear and cotton T-Shirts

  • School backpacks or bags

  • Kramas (checkered traditional sarongs)

  • Whiteboard markers (Pentel Maxiflow)

 

• What can I buy at home and bring with me:

  • Deodorant and head lice treatment

  • Lice combs, heavy duty

• Is there anything you DON'T need?

  • Please do not send us anything as it will be at the customs for too long.

  • Textas or felt tip markers (they dry out)

  • Stuffed toys

  • Skimpy revealing clothes such as mini skirts, halter necks, low cut tops, Khmer style is modest

  • Synthetic clothes

  • Playing cards as gambling is a big issue

  • Plastic toys

  • Lollies, sweets and soft drinks

PAYMENT

• Can I pay with credit card? No. We kindly ask you to pay in cash US$.

TRANSPORTATION

• Can you pick us up on arrival? Yes. Pick-up is included from Siem Reap bus stations and the airport.

• Is there an extra fee, if we need a Tuk-Tuk? No.
